2024新疆高质量发展调研行主题采访团走进和田地区，记者29日从皮山县水利局了解到，该县桑株河恰斯干水库工程进度已过半。现场机器轰鸣，车辆穿梭，工人们紧张有序地忙碌着。桑株河恰斯干水库工程作为新疆“十四五”期间水利重点建设项目，承载着优化流域水资源配置的重任。如今，工程建设进度已过半，引水工程、水库工程、放水渠工程以及防洪工程等关键建设内容均取得了显著进展。桑株河恰斯干水库工程总投资为4.27亿元，最大坝高28.9米，总库容952万立方米。这座水库不仅具备沉沙和灌溉效益，更将对促进社会经济发展、助力乡村振兴产生深远影响。项目建成后，将为皮山县的木吉镇、藏桂乡、乔达乡近28万亩土地提供灌溉用水，惠及6.5万余名群众。皮山县水利局党组副书记、局长赵德超表示，皮山县水资源分布不均，下游灌溉常常受到影响。此项工程的建设对优化皮山县水资源配置、促进区域协调发展具有重要意义。
