2024年10月27日上午，第五届首都高端智库北京交通发展论坛暨“光华奖”走进交大在北京交通大学隆重召开。光华工程科技奖励基金会理事长、中国工程院院士、中国工程院原副院长何华武，中国工程院院士王浩，中国工程院院士、新疆维吾尔自治区科协主席邓铭江，光华工程科技奖励基金会副理事长、北京交通大学国家经济安全研究院院长李孟刚，光华工程科技奖励基金会副理事长兼秘书长徐进，宁波路宝集团董事长徐斌，中国国家铁路集团原副总经理、中国铁道学会理事长王同军，北京交通大学党委书记王稼琼等领导、专家出席论坛。论坛由北京交通大学党委常委、副校长赵鹏主持。开幕致辞时，王稼琼代表北京交通大学感谢“光华奖”对学校各项事业发展的关心和支持。他指出，北京交通大学已形成以国家高端智库为龙头，首都高端智库、省部级研究平台、校级研究机构协同发展、纵深发展的高质量智库矩阵。7年来，作为首批首都高端智库建设试点单位之一的北京综合交通发展研究院，始终以服务党和政府决策为宗旨，不断推出务实管用的政策建议，为推动首都高质量发展贡献重要力量。他希望智库专家坚持胸怀天下、牢记服务决策的使命；坚持脚踏实地，发扬求真务实的作风；坚持笔下千钧，涵养认真负责的精神。在“光华奖”走进交大环节中，何华武理事长表示，光华工程科技奖是1995年经国家科技奖励办公室批准，由光华工程科技奖励基金会管理的中国工程界的高端奖项。“光华奖”将一如既往支持交大科学研究、人才培养及智库建设，他希望智库专家不断激发思想的力量、创新的力量、实践的力量，为党和政府科学决策贡献智慧和力量。第十五届光华工程科技奖获奖专家王同军做了专题报告。出席本次论坛的还有光华工程科技奖励基金会、北京市交通委员会、交通运输部政策研究室、中国交通运输协会、滴滴出行、可持续交通创新中心国家高端智库、清华大学智库中心、北京大学首都发展研究院智库、中国人民大学首都发展与战略研究院、北京师范大学首都文化创新与文化传播工程研究院、对外经贸大学北京对外开放研究院、首都经济贸易大学特大城市经济社会发展研究院等近20家有关单位的代表，以及北京交通大学各单位负责同志、师生代表，人民日报、新华社、光明日报、中国日报、科技日报、中国教育报、中国科学报、中国交通报、北京日报、北京青年报、中国教育电视台、北京电视台等媒体代表200余人。
